Do you only paint your designs? TOP
I can re-create something from a picture you like with some alteration. I have been given "free reign" many times with clients I know personally. It depends on each individual client. I do like to use my own original work, but everything I have ever painted has been altered to suit the taste of my clients, therefore, all work is original. I have very detailed conversations with clients to learn what it is they are looking for. I cannot guarantee perfection. Art is something that is just that...Art. I will guarantee that every design will be given the same attention to detail whether it is a small sign or a complete set of outdoor furniture. To me, that is more important than "perfection."I take complete pride in my work and I want you to enjoy it. How do you charge for a mural? TOP
I charge by the square foot of the space painted. Prices will vary but I do require a 40% deposit of the final price. If there is any travel involved, those are at the cost of the customer for those of you out of my local area. Of course, the bigger the space, the more you will spend. I take into account the preparation of the space, the hours spent in preparation, painting and finishing. Each quote is individual. You are welcome to email me with your pictures of your space, and any pictures or images you would like to have painted in that space. We can work together to come up with something great! What do you charge for shipping? TOP
Shipping charges are as actual as I can get them. In having sold on other websites, I am aware of the abuse of shipping charges to make an extra buck. That will NOT be the case with Cole Design. I take pride in the sale of every piece. I will not be known for outrageous shipping charges. With the furniture pieces, I will work with each client to insure they pay the least amount possible. Can I order items in other colors than the ones shown? TOP
ABSOLUTELY!! I will customize any yard stake or sign to fit your personal taste. That is the joy of my product. It is very versatile. Personalization is included in the cost of our products. Simply, email me with your color preferences and I will do my very best! Each piece is individually hand painted so no two pieces are exactly alike.
How long does it usually take to have something custom painted such as a piece of furniture? TOP
I usually require a 4-6 week lead time for each piece. For those items that you would like to have rush ordered, an additional fee will apply depending on the size of the item you would like painted.
Do you only paint on wood? TOP
I can paint on just about anything. I have painted on wood, plastic, metal and glass. Each piece is inspected very carefully to insure you the best possible design to showcase your piece to its potential. Every piece is also sealed to insure the life of the design for as long as possible depending on the material on which it was painted. Hand painted glass is more fragile and hand washable only. I recommend simply rinsing in cool water. Outdoor wood furniture once protected with Helmann outdoor polyurethane has shown that the furniture can withstand sunlight, rain, and moisture.
